VOOPOO ARGUS G4 Takes Gold at Muse Design Awards After InterTabac Honors
VOOPOO's ARGUS G4 pod device won Gold in the 2026 Muse Design Awards, announced in mid-October, the latest in a run of honors for the Shenzhen-based vaping maker whose MAGIC POD Multi-Ohm Cartridge also took a second-place finish at the InterTabac World Alternative Awards in September.
At the InterTabac trade fair in Dortmund, Germany, the ARGUS G4 was named second place for Best Vape Device of the Year and the MAGIC POD — the ARGUS Multi-Ohm Cartridge — took second place for Best Vape Innovation of the Year. The awards recognize products in the reduced-risk nicotine segment that push the boundaries of design and function, the company said. VOOPOO had earlier taken honors at the VAPE CLUB SHOW in Moscow.
The MAGIC POD is billed as the world's first multi-ohm pod: using multi-electrode technology, it combines three resistance options — 0.4Ω, 0.7Ω and 1.0Ω — in a single cartridge, allowing one pod to serve mouth-to-lung and more open vaping styles without swapping coils. The cartridge line carries VOOPOO's iCOSM CODE 2.0 platform, which the company says delivers 30-day cleanliness and endures up to 100 mL of e-liquid with leak-resistant, flavor-enhancing construction.
The ARGUS G4 device itself is built around a 1650 mAh high-density battery rated for up to five days of use per charge, with a maximum output of 35 W, a 0.85-inch HD display, stepless airflow adjustment and a full-metal chassis weighing 65 grams, charged via Type-C at 5V/2A. The Muse awards also recognized VOOPOO's VMATE MAX2 with a Silver for its design and performance.
The recognition matters commercially as well as aesthetically: hardware differentiation — pods that flex across resistance ranges, leak-resistant platforms, longer service intervals — has become the main axis on which open-system brands compete, particularly in European markets where flavour restrictions leave device engineering as the primary lever for user retention.
